Monthly visits track weight, blood pressure, labs, and ultrasounds to evaluate the fetus. The obstetrician will guide care based on your history and comfort.
When can the embryo be detected by ultrasound?
At 4–5 weeks the gestational sac may be visible even if the embryo isn’t yet. A follow-up scan confirms embryo and heartbeat.
